For a number of years, Summer nights in the far corner of southeast Bend were marked with clear views of the stars, the rhythmic beats of outdoor dance parties, and small gatherings during full moons and equinox in the setting of an old tree farm.
June 21st marked the evolution of these small gatherings into the first annual Steampunk Festival presented by Mobile Dance Party. Heavy rain and rolling storms didn’t dampen spirits during the two day dance party, revelers enjoyed live music, dance, live art, and food & drink from local vendors. Thanks to Mobile Dance Party for hosting the most unique event of the summer!
This was the last year for the solstice party at this location. The old tree farm is currently in negotiations with developers to build 50+ new homes, check the developments page for more info.
