Hidden amongst the trees in Alpenglow park, you can find the Zenith sculpture, a towering steel structure created by artist Troy Pillows.
At first glance, Zenith may appear as a simple abstract form. Upon closer inspection it becomes clear the piece is complex and thoughtful. The steel carefully arranged in shapes that create a sense of movement and flow that compliments it’s location alongside mature ponderosa and juniper.
The beauty of Zenith lies in how it interacts with it’s high desert surroundings. As the sun moves across the sky each day, the sculpture creates patterns and changes color. These shifting shapes and hues create an ever changing experience that makes each visit unique.
In addition to its visual appeal, the sculpture serves as a gathering place. The open structure invites visitors to walk through the shapes, creating a sense of exploration.
